(News) Bundelkhand: Heat wave conditions with mercury hovering around 45 degrees C.

Bundelkhand, Northern MP reels under heat wave

Bundelkhand region along with northern parts of Madhya Pradesh continued to reel under heat wave conditions with mercury hovering around 45 degrees C. Mercury continued to be around 43 degrees C in Bhopal.

Khajuraho, Naugaon and Datia were the hottest places in Madhya Pradesh with mercury touching 45 degrees C mark on Tuesday. Similarly, Gwalior Bhind and Morena also continued to be among the hottest districts with the mercury touching 43 degrees C mark.

Meteorological department officials said that similar weather conditions are likely to prevail in the coming days and there is no respite from the prevailing weather conditions. "Heat wave conditions prevailed in parts of north east Madhya Pradesh", weather office said adding, "An upper air cyclonic circulation is also building over north eastern part of the state."
