Resolution Move In U.P. Assembly On Bundelkhand
A private member resolution was on Monday moved in the Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha recommending to the Centre the creation of a separate state of Bundelkhand by carving out seven districts of Uttar Pradesh. The resolution, moved by Congress members Pradeep Jain Aditya, Vindo Chaturvedi and Vivek Kumar Singh, would come up for discussion on Tuesday. The seven districts in question are Jhansi, Banda, Lalitpur, Jalaun, Hameerpur, Mahoba and Chitrakoot.
