Fertilisers are not reaching for the farmers of Bundelkhand

Union Minister of State for Rural Development Pradeep Jain ‘Aditya’ has written to Chief Minister Mayawati alleging that fertilisers are not reaching the marginalised farmers of Bundelkhand in UP, and are being sold in the market at higher rates.

In his letter dated October 13, Jain has asked the state government to take urgent steps to ensure that the fertilisers reach their intended beneficiaries in the backward region.

Jain has attached details of the dispatch of fertilisers by the central government to the Bundelkhand districts of Jhansi and Lalitpur until September 30, against the requirement shown by the state government.
