News : MP govt allocates Rs 1.53 cr to Bundelkhand drought, water problem districts

Jan 6 Madhya Pradesh government has allocated over Rs 1.53 crore to four districts which are affected by drought and drinking water problems.
These funds will be utilised for drought relief works and supply of drinking water in the rural areas of Sagar, Datia, Gwalior and Shajapur districts, an official release said here today.

Out of these funds, Rs 73.65 lakh has been allocated to Sagar district, Rs 42 lakh to Datia, Rs 33 lakh to Gwalior and Rs 5.15 lakh to Shajapur districts, it said.
