Firstly thanks to www.bundelkhand.in. for giving platform.I am arun singh chandel,national president,bundelkhand viks dal(first regional party regd.with election commission of india.in that region)fighting for bundelkhand progress & to become aseperate state in united india.it is true that this area is neglected by u.p,m.p,indian govt.& other agencies.packageis not asolution. formers & poor man are dieing,no clear drinkig water,no prper education,no good roads,no electricity,no hospitals etc.such aposition is running since 1947,but regional parties are not taking combined front to attack state& centrale govt,also take social org. start all combined for our soul state.Again thanks to all of you who are fighting for seperate state in united india.@A.S.CHANDEL,journalist,social worker,politician/.u.p president rural journalist association of india.

Our Bundelkhand is divided in MP and UP causing the loss of cultural heritage and development of common people. First of all the whole area of Bundelkhand should be integrated under either MP or UP.I would like to give the preference that the entire area of bundelkhand should come under the umbrella of either M.P. ( because the 75% part of integrated bundelkhand is comes under the state of M.P. ) or should be a separate state,as THE LARGER PART OF Bundelkhand is in M.P., and neither the Govt. of M.P. nor U.P. takes care of the region as the most backword area of M.P. is the District Tikamgarh is in Bundelkhand Region and in U.P. also the most back word area of U.P. is Lalitpur. Hence most of the bundelkhand is largely kept behind the development race by both of the states. This is the non efficiency of the central Govt. as well as the local leaders, as the political leaders of the region takes he advantage but after winning the election they don't looks back to the region, it looks that they are trying to keep the people of the area in below their feet. If anybody want to see the real poverty in India, should visit the villages of bundelkhand and see how the people are living in starvation & how they dies without food and other necessary things for life................cont.

I had been to Bnada since 1971 when appointed as a lecturer in Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru ( PG ) College , Banda and left June 2000, after serving there for almost 30 years and imprting education to the people of the so called ' backward region' of Bundelkhand. No doubt, the region is Backward, but the people are lovable and living in the compelling circumstances owing to the 'political' negligence. The region is worth a jewel and the natural resources and the human resource could have been harnessed just to remove Bundelkhand from the list of Backward. I belong to Dehradun, now the capital of Uttarakhand, but I found a lot of difference in the understanding and following among the students from the Backward and the elite bacground. Paying respect is to be learnt from these people from regions like Banda. A lot has to be done. I counselled a lot for the people there and earned good results. A student of 50 % marks was seen rising to level of 73 % but here in Doon the student from the traditional education stream having 50 % marks is rarely seen enhancing upto even 55 %. What is wrong with the most elite city of this country. May be others are there. This is quite painful.

when I was in jhansi in 2006 then this city had 9 cinema halls now it has only 3-4 cinema halls .
JHANSI city need a MULTIPLEX for the new movies.
so that the viewers go to the cinema hall to watch the movie.
