Chitrakoot is a small religious town, situated at the southern part of the east Uttar Pradesh - India.

It is famous for Lord Ram and Sita's visit, long centuries back. Chitrakoot is a holy place famous both   for its  natural scenery and  its spiritual altitude.  A tourist is as much thrilled by sighting  its   beautiful  waterfalls and taking dip at Mandakini River. Some major attractions are as follows:
  • Ramghat
  • Kamadgiri
  • Janaki Kund
  • Sati Anusuya
  • Sphatik Shila
  • Gupt-Godavari
  • Hanuman Dhara

Janki Kund is having a famous free Eye-Hospital also.
