Banda (Bundelkhand): Here we are presenting some videos on Bundelkhand's Diwari Nritya. This dance is really marvelous and displays extraordinary techniques of a traditional fighting dance. This is mostly played over many villages and towns in Bundelkhand region.Diwari Nritya is basically mixed reflection of some martial arts techniques and Indian Lathi Bazi art. This dance is played among two people or might be a group of 2 to 4 or more people. Mainly in this dance a group leader performs to save himself from shots of Lathi hit by other performers. And after the end of this dance they pray and worship to god with their traditional styles and all make wish for successful and joyful life for their family.
