Bundelkhand University will join hands with a Canadian company to explore mineral deposits
Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, will join hands with a Canadian company to explore mineral deposits in the region. The university’s Department of Geology will partner with the Ontario, Canada-based Maxtech Limited to assess the quantity and quality of the deposits.
The company has agreed to provide funds and technical support, and a memorandum of understanding (MoU) will be signed within a month. Sources said company officials met experts from the university and Geological Survey of India in New Delhi recently.
“The company has been talking to the state government since the time information about these minerals was made public.
