(NEWS) A train finally to Khajuraho
Khajuraho, one of India's best known tourist spots, will finally get a rail link from February.
Railway officials said work on the 64-km track length between Mahoba and Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh was progressing at a fast pace.
Once the track was laid between Mahoba and Khajuraho, it would be possible for tourists to take trains from Agra or Jhansi directly to avoid a hard five-hour drive by road from Jhansi.
